Installation Precautions
Always turn off the system before installing or removing the 1756-L71 module. Align the controller with the chassis slot and firmly press until it clicks into place, then secure it with the included key. For reliable data storage, use only suggested SD cards (e.g., 1784-SD1 or 1784-SD2). Non-approved cards may cause errors. For redundancy installations, make sure both physical racks have the same module kinds and quantities, and link the redundant fiber optic connections correctly. The primary rack's network module IP address is fixed, whereas the standby rack's IP address is automatically incremented by 1.
Power and Environment
Ensure the voltage supply meets the 1756-L71's specifications of 24VDC ±10% for input signals.
